Good to know

  • These are ordinary messages you send yourself from the WhatsApp app. They are not WhatsApp Business Platform (API) templates, which need Meta approval before a business can send them automatically.
  • Only message people who have contacted you or agreed to hear from you. WALink never sends messages on your behalf.
  • Everything you type stays in your browser. Nothing is sent to WALink unless you sign in and choose to save.

Frequently asked questions

Are these approved WhatsApp templates?

No. Meta approval applies to API “message templates” sent through the WhatsApp Business Platform. You can paste these into the regular WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business app without approval.

Can I send them to many customers at once?

Not from this tool. Bulk or automated messages need customer opt-in and the WhatsApp Business Platform — for example through ChatGrow.

Do the formatting marks work?

Yes. *bold*, _italic_ and ~strikethrough~ use WhatsApp's own syntax and show correctly when sent.
