Good to know

  • Some enterprise (802.1X/EAP) networks can't be joined from a QR code.
  • Anyone who scans the card gets the password — use a separate guest network.
  • Your Wi-Fi password is processed only in this browser. It is never sent to WALink and the Wi-Fi tool has no save option.

Which phones support Wi-Fi QR codes?

iPhones on iOS 11+ and most Android phones from Android 10 can join directly from the camera.

What does “hidden network” do?

It tells the phone the network doesn't broadcast its name, so the phone looks for it actively.

My password has special characters. Will it work?

Yes. Backslash, semicolon, comma, colon and quotes are escaped as the format requires.
